I wasn’t born athletic—I was the “fat kid.” At 12 years old I weighed nearly 200 pounds, eating whatever I wanted and feeling trapped in a body that didn’t reflect who I wanted to be. I tried everything—at-home workout apps, crash diets, endless cardio on a dusty old elliptical—but I didn’t understand what actually worked. I made every mistake in the book.
My journey into fitness wasn’t perfect—it was full of trial and error, frustration, and setbacks. I chased every “quick fix,” pushed myself without truly understanding my body, and hit roadblocks that left me questioning whether I’d ever reach my goals.
But through those struggles, something unexpected happened—I discovered a passion. The setbacks weren’t failures; they were lessons. Every wrong turn taught me something about exercise, nutrition, and mindset. And more importantly, it showed me how much I wanted to help others avoid the same frustrations I went through.
That’s why I created Ascension Fitness Training: to be the resource I wish I had when I started. My mission is to give you the tools, knowledge, and accountability you need to succeed—without confusion, wasted time, or gimmicks.
Fitness isn’t just about building muscle or losing weight. It’s about becoming healthier, stronger, and more confident in every area of life. It’s about ascending to your best self—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
